Wisconsin needs Concealed Carry

As if you had to justify your right to carry a firearm for self defense, CNN reports:

A group of as many as 15 youths punched, kicked and jumped on McClain after he honked for them to move out of the street, witnesses said.
And yes, I do think that shooting a 14 to 16 year old "child" is justified under these circumstances. And you probably don't have to shoot too many of them before they think twice about thug violence.

I wish that would have happened to me. With 15 of them I could have practiced a tactical reload.

I hope this wakes up WI liberals who are against the CCW law. But I'm a realist, they will portray these 15 kids as victims of budget cuts from our President. This man was beaten to near death because of Bush.

You know, last year someone travelling through Milwaukee had to unconceal his carry to stop a robbery attempt not too far from this incident. Oddly enough, he never was in critical condition after the incident.

That is surprising Brian.

I lived two blocks down from Jeffrey Dahmer while going to school there (no lie!). That city is in dire need of concealed carry. I cannot believe I made it out of there alive. Stories like that one were not too uncommon. I know of at least two or three that occured while I was there.

Those little vermin did quite a number on the guy; as far as I am concerned, they should be charged with attempted murder, since they could have easily killed him.

I think that he would have been charged if he had been armed and shot one of them before giving a warning or at least brandishing his weapon. Not that they don't deserve it, but if he was the first to introduce a weapon into the "fracas", the law would side with the kids. That's not a professional opinion, of course, just common sense.
The guy would not have been wrong, just vulnerable to prosecutorial zealotry if he did not try to withdraw once he pulled a weapon.

If he had a gun there would be a few less of these scum to mess up the city
