Rules for thee but not for me

In an interview with NBC's Jamie Gangel, rapper 50-Cent defends his constant use of the N-word.

Gangel: You use the N-word constantly.

50 Cent: Oh, see, but that — that is not —

Gangel: That makes parents crazy. I'd kill my kids —

50 Cent: Oh, if they said that.

Gangel: If that ever came out of their mouths.

50 Cent: Well, I understand that, 'cause your culture is different. Like when I'm saying that it isn't — I'm not using that as a racial slur. You know, in — in the neighborhood, they'll say, “What's up? That's my n-----. Yo, come here.” They're not offended by it when you say that. You just — it's just the slang that we use where we're from.

Gangel: Isn't it demeaning to use that slang?

50 Cent: No, I — it depends on the actual person and how they actually using it.

Gangel: You can get away with it.

50 Cent: I do. All the time. [Laughter]

Yes, you see, I am a mutant.

But you can't actually call me a mutant unless you also self-identify as a mutant.

Otherwise it's a slur.

Got it?

It's only not a slur in his mind. He also thinks calling a woman "b*tch" isn't a put down.

Methinks the next person he uses the N-word on or calls "b*tch" should slap him silly**.

**I try to avoid profanity whenever possible.

Why do you delete it out?
Instead of "That's my n-----. " why don't you right
"nigger".
We are grownups.

PS I meant "write" instead of "right".
Sorry about that. I am at work and rushing.

I was quoting the article. They deleted it out, not me. Typically, I only censor stuff that trips firewalls... (like the correct spelling of the word: Pr0n)

The birdfeeding industry has renamed niger seed nyjer seed to avoid offending the illiterate.

Yes, and Canola got the same treatment awhile back. Guess the PC crowd couldn't handle a plant called rapeseed. Ok, its actually a low acid variant, but the two plants are more closely related than pot and hemp.

50 cent is a nickel fool, but millions of his supporters share the exact same viewpoint. Double standards. Nope, sorry, that dog don't hunt.
