An Indiana University student may face felony animal cruelty charges and a $500 fine for tossing his guinea pig out of an 8th floor dorm window. The guinea pig hit a wind shear and ended up landing in a tree on the way down. He was rescued and taken to an animal shelter to treat his injuries, and is doing fine.
