A Missouri woman who was 8 months pregnant was brutally murdered, and her unborn child was cut from her womb and stolen. The crime is horrific and Missouri has issued an Amber alert for the stolen baby. Does anyone else think the statements from the Nodaway County Sheriff's Department are pretty creepy?
"The victim was eight months pregnant at the time of her death and medical personnel indicate that the child may be viable."As I don't have any, I'm no expert on kids. But wouldn't an 8-month old fetus look just a little bit younger (smaller) than a 0-month old newborn baby?The subject of the search is described as "an 8-month-old white female fetus."
What I find creepy is that anyone would have a mind to do such a deed.

The CHILD appears to have been found alive. Not a "fetus." A CHILD.
Ask me again why I oppose abortion after the first trimester.
Posted by: Acidman at December 17, 2004 7:10 PMan 8 month fetus is exceedingly viable...and depending on any number of variables, it COULD look exactly like any full-term fetus.
And remember, once delivered, it is no longer a fetus, it's a baby.
