Since the 2000 election, when the NAACP all but accused George Bush of driving the truck in the dragging death of James Byrd, Bush has snubbed the black rights group. Given the words said at this year's convention it looks like he's pretty much justified.

In perfect temerity, NAACP Chairman and former Democrat legislator Julian Bond accused the Republicans of "playing the race card in election after election."
