The First Lady of gun banning, Senator Dianne Feinstein (who incidentally has armed security and carries a gun in her purse) has introduced Senate Bill 2498, to reauthorize the Clinton Gun Ban. The NRA reports that the bill could come up for a Senate vote at any time. Pro-freedom groups like Gunowners of America have been watching the Senator closely, knowing that she is running out of time to get the ban passed before the Senate breaks for summer recess.

And so the process begins. Keep in mind that the Senate was already able to pass this once this year.
