UK: Army Major arrested, 'armed to the teeth'

iconThe guy comes back from the combat zone carrying his duty firearms, and they call it armed to the teeth. Here is what makes the Brits cower in fear:

He was carrying a standard British Army-issue SA80 automatic rifle, a pistol and six full magazines of bullets.
Gosh! He must have had a few hundred rounds of ammo on him! Meanwhile, it takes me at least three trips to load up the car every time I go shooting.

Ravenwood,
It's fortunate they caught this guy. Obviously he was planning a murderous rampage. Which, would have made the sixth time this month a field-grade Brittish officer assaulted the crouded Reading Station with automatic weapons. You just can't trust anyone below the rank of Lt. General with a rifle. Luckily the article stated the magazine was full of bullets, and bullets are fairly inert; well, unless you eat 'em.
Interesting Site,
Jasen

It just gets worse & worse......as everyone knows, the SA80 never works, so where is the threat?
