Erick Smith from USA Today has jumped on the Hokie bandwagon and is predicting them to face Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl for the national title. He reluctantly has Oklahoma winning. This is a far cry from 1999, when it was said that Virginia Tech wouldn't/shouldn't even be there. They made believers out of Bobby Bowden, by not rolling over and dying like everyone thought they would. If they go this year, I think they'll do the same to the Okies.

Of course that is a big IF. They've got a long hard road to New Orleans, but then again, they already know the way.
