We haven't had snow in Houston since I was in seventh grade, and that snow melted the second it hit the ground. It has only snowed to where it could build up on the ground twice during my lifetime (three times total). It's just as well, since I prefer the deluges we seem to get every other month to six feet of snow. Gotta have the right preferences.

It snowed here briefly (and I do mean briefly!) last year.....and several years before that. Considering that I'm less than 10 miles from the beach....in California, I'd call that "interesting"
