I Pat's responses in comments, and I'm pretty much going to conjecture that she doesn't understand that gun ownership is one of the enumerated rights in the constitution. She isn't a whack job anti-gunner though.

She's just not very careful with her writing and speaking. Unfortunately, that's probably made much worse by the internet medium that we're all playing in. If you want to play you have to be careful or you have to be able to recover.
